What is HEIC and why convert it?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the photo format Apple uses on iPhones and iPads. It produces smaller files than JPG with the same quality โ great for storage, less great for sharing. Many websites, Windows apps and older devices can't open HEIC files. Converting to JPG fixes that.
Drop your HEIC files above (you can select dozens at once), pick a JPG quality, and we'll convert them right in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded โ the conversion uses WebAssembly to decode HEIC locally.
How it works
- Select or drop one or more
.heic/.heiffiles. - Choose your JPG quality (92% gives a near-perfect result).
- Download each photo individually or grab all of them as a ZIP.
If you're moving from iPhone to a Windows PC, an old Android, or a website upload form, this tool is the fastest way to make your photos work everywhere.
